Hitsugi of Nightmare, who paused activities after their Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium performance on November 23rd last year, announced a March 1st release date for the 4th single from his own project Gremlins. Along with that, a new artist photo was also released.
We are launching a new image, changing the dark colors from before, and the theme of the artist photo is “I tried swapping the Gothic look we’ve had so far with a Glam look.”
In SPICE, Hits and KNZ (Dr) wrote an e-mail on the theme of the new visuals, and the concept of “RED DAY” to be held at Shinjuku ReNY on Sunday, March 5th. I also asked about their first dream of the new year.
– What is the theme of the new artist photo?
Hits : I tried swapping the Gothic look we’ve had so far with a Glam look.
KNZ : The theme this time was both of us wearing fur. I tried doing a little bit of pop line with I’ve never used fur on pants, so I tried to be adventurous thinking that I should show a new side. I wonder if it seems tengu-ish (heavenly dog-ish) somewhere?
– They say you have been in the studio since the beginning of the year, so what are you working on?
Hits : I’m recording, but actually I’ve been in the studio since the end of last year.
KNZ : Recording new material, of course.
– Did you see the first dream of the new year?
Hits : I might have seen but, I forgot.
KNZ : I’ve seen it but somehow I’ve forgot.
– Please tell us what you can about the concept of “RED DAY” on March 5.
Hits : I think since it will be the first time I’ve come out in front of fans since the hiatus of Nightmare, I feel the live also serves as a New Year’s greeting that is a little late. I think we will play the new songs since there will also be a release.
– Message to fans!
Hits : I think there will be lots of new stuff this year, definitely come along with us please.
KNZ : Thank you as always! Please continue to expect more because I’ll pursue the likeness of GREMLINS from now on.
– Message to everyone who might become a fan!
Hits : “Message to everyone who might become a fan” that’s a new one (laughs). We write GREMLINS but read “gremlin”. Please don’t say the “s”. I am looking forward to seeing you at the live. HA! HA! HA!
KNZ : By all means, please come one time and experience the live.
